Description: The Namakagon Landing offers wheelchair accessible lodging accommodations on beautiful Lake Namakagon and Namakagon River near Cable, Wisconsin. This recently built air-conditioned vacation home features a 100% barrier free open layout all on one level with DSL/Wireless Internet access. The home has a wheelchair accessible bathroom and shower and most beds are of wheelchair compatible heights.

The open great room has wonderful lake views and a carpeted living room area with comfortable sofa and loveseat surrounding a stone, gas fireplace. The Cable TV set and VCR player sit above the fireplace. The large, open kitchen with tile floor has a gas stovetop and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and refrigerator/freezer. Cozy up to the kitchen counter on a stool or enjoy a meal and conversation at the dining room table or in the sunroom.

Patio doors lead out from the great room into the four season sunroom which overlooks the level lakeside yard and contains a full futon. A mud room entryway with washer/dryer leads to a heated attached garage.

There are ceiling fans in each of the three bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are off the great room and have beds at wheelchair compatible heights. One bedroom has a queen sized bed 20", tv, and full bath with wheelchair accessible shower. The second bedroom has a full bed 22" and tv and a third bedroom has a trundle bunk bed 20". The sunroom has a twin futon 16" and the best views in the house.

In the winter months, you can enjoy easy access to a snowmobile trail, ice fishing, and are only minutes from popular, world class X-C ski and snowshoe trails. A level boardwalk leads down to a wheelchair accessible dock in the summer months. There is a gas grill and patio for outdoor dining, too. In the summer months, enjoy boating, fishing, canoe and kayaking, world class mountain biking, swimming, hiking, birdwatching, or just relaxing by the lake. The headwaters of the Namakagon River begin right outside your door. You can paddle the serene backwater channel for a few hours or, all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, if you choose.
