A blacktopped driveway crests at the welcoming backdoor of the home which enjoys a nicely landscaped and buffered location in the heart of the Hayward Lakes Area.

The comfortable cabin is situated perfectly to capture the beautiful view of the lake. A lakeside deck with a picnic table and a screened porch overlook Nelson Lake and afford wonderful locations to enjoy the sunshine, a cool breeze, the sounds of the Northwoods and a family picnic. The vista can also be enjoyed around the fantastic rock fire ring which is a super spot to watch the stars around a warm campfire. A path leads you down the hill to the lake and a private dock and nice swimming area.

The cozy interior features a full kitchen with all the essentials including a gas stove/oven, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave and refrigerator/freezer. The kitchen table sits beneath a ceiling fan and sliding patio doors lead out to the lakeside deck. The carpeted living room with its comfortable stuffed chairs, couches and TV with local channels and VCR/DVD fills out the rest of the main part of the cabin’s interior. There are 3 bedrooms and a full bath with shower off the kitchen and living room. The first bedroom has a double size bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has a set of bunk beds in it.

Nelson Lake is known for its natural scenery, wildlife and family fun and activities. It is an angler’s dream with miles of natural shoreline structure holding walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, crappies, bluegills and perch. With over 3,000 acres to explore and 31 miles of wooded shoreline – of which only 50% is developed – it is easy to escape the crowds and see wildlife such as beavers, otters, muskrats, deer, bear and nesting bald eagles and ospreys. Boating, swimming and pontooning are all popular activities on the lake. Feel free to bring the boat as there is plenty of room to stow the trailer. There are also marinas, a bait shop, and restaurants on the lake, too.
